Parent & Guardian Code of Conduct

A short guide to helping every child feel safe, welcome and confident.

Last updated: 3 October 2026

By booking or attending a Bright Groove activity, parents and guardians agree to support these expectations.

Respect and inclusion

Treat children, teachers, families and venue staff with courtesy. Bullying, harassment, discrimination, intimidation and abusive behaviour are not accepted.

Arrival and collection

Bring children at least five minutes before class. Be at the collection point ten minutes before the class ends. Children are released only to a parent, guardian or adult authorised in advance.

During class

Parents wait outside the studio unless Bright Groove invites them to an open class. Please allow the teacher to teach without interruption and follow reasonable venue instructions.

Health and safety

Provide accurate information about allergies, medical needs, injuries or circumstances that may affect safe participation, and tell Bright Groove if anything changes.

Photography and privacy

Do not photograph or film children other than your own without permission. Bright Groove uses identifiable images of children only where a parent or guardian has opted in.

Communication and concerns

Communicate respectfully and raise concerns directly so they can be handled promptly. Safeguarding concerns should be reported to Grazi Ramos, Safeguarding Lead, at grazi@brightgroove.co.uk. Call 999 if a child is in immediate danger.

If expectations are not met

Bright Groove may discuss concerns with a parent or guardian and may restrict attendance where this is reasonably necessary to protect children, staff or others.

Venue

Classes take place at The Mall School, 185 Hampton Road, Twickenham TW2 5NQ. Drop-off and collection are at the school's main gate. Please follow the school's rules on access and parking.
